He was predeceased by: his parents, Rufus Wiberg and Edna Wiberg; his brothers, Gary and Colin; and his sister-in-law Doreen Holyoak of Creelman, Saskatchewan..

He is survived by: his children, Del Wiberg (Joanne) and Brenda Loewen (Murray); and his sister Dorothy Evans (Herb). He is also survived by his 5 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren as well as many friends.
