He was predeceased by: his wife Velna Favel; the mother of his children Helena Merasty; his parents, Jack Favel and Flora Favel; his daughter Tanya Favel; and his siblings, Mary Montgrand (Daniel), Joseph Favel (Rosaline), Jonas Favel (Christine), Norman Favel (Elizabeth), Donald Favel and Antoinette Favel.
He is survived by: his children, William Jr. Favel (Joni), Colleen Favel, Charlotte Merasty and Hermaline McCallum; his sister Alice Woods; his sister-in-law Doreen Favel; and his brothers, Jim Favel (Marie) and George Favel (Pauline). He is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
