He was predeceased by: his parents, Stanley Ballantyne and Ruth Ballantyne; his stepfather Rev. Percy Ross; his grandson Drake Charles; his brothers, Clarence, Bad, Randall, Randy Ballantyne and Raymond Ballantyne; his grandparents, Mr Abraham, Amelia Hunt (Bird), Mr Albert and Margaret Ballantyne; his aunt Mary Ermine; his uncle Austin Ballantyne; and his godparents, Margorie and Howard Bighead.
He is survived by: his wife Nora Ballantyne; his children, Frank Ballantyne, Trevor Ballantyne (Trisha), Alfred Ballantyne (Emily), Clifford Ballantyne, Lazarus Ballantyne (Jolene) and Maggie Ballantyne (Billy); his grandchildren, Brandon, Seth, Draysen, Serenity, Brittany, Jericho, Raincloud, Desmond, Elizabeth, Paul, Tammy and Trayson; his niece Jessica Brown; his siblings, Delphine Ballantyne, Karl Ballantyne (Mary), Percy Ballantyne (Emilie) and Leon Ballantyne (Mary); and his sisters-in-law, Lorraine Ballantyne and Madonna Ballantyne. He is also survived by numerous nieces & nephews.
