He was predeceased by: his father Norman Patrick Turner; his brother Aaron Turner; his grandparents, Douglas Ermine, Grace Ermine, Eli Turner and Nancy Turner; his cousins, Jack Turner, Franklin Turner, Adriene Ermine, Daroy Turner, Brian Turner, Darrell Ermine and Jason Ermine; and his aunts and uncles, William Joe Turner, Jim Turner, Elwood Turner, Francis Turner, Eugene Ermine, Edward Ermine, Irene Peter, Freda Moosehunter, Wilma Ermine, Lorna Ermine and Hazel Franklin.

He is survived by: his mother Doris Pauline Ermine; his daughter Shelby Lynn Severight; his grandchild Kyaree Aunika Nawakayas; his siblings, Patricia Turner-McAdam, Nadine Turner, Bradley Turner and Lenny Turner; and his aunts, Mary Dillion, Lillian Turner, Mary Ballentyne (Leon), Sylvia Harper, Beverley Ermine, Judy Crowe and Selena Ermine (Mel).
