He was predeceased by: his wife Gwenth; his close friend Dorothy Porter (Passed); his parents, Arthur Sandbeck and Christina Sandbeck; and his siblings, Vernon (Peggy), Arnold (Eileen), Mel Sandbeck (Doreen), Hans, Elaine Buchanan and Doreen Svare.

He is survived by: his children, William Sandbeck, David Sandbeck (Dianne) and Linda Lisko (Garth); his granddaughter Kimberly Kipling (Troy); and his sister Audrey Sandbeck. He is also survived by his great grandsons, nieces and nephews.
