He is survived by: his children, Scott Merasty (Nadine), Carrie Good (Chris) and Nikki McCallum (Leo McDonald); his brother Bernard Peterson; his daughter-in-law Connie Paintednose-Merasty; his grandchildren, Cree Merasty (Darian), Sidney Merasty (Jules), Reese Merasty (Deana Budger), Kane Merasty, Kali Merasty, Jordan Engebregtson, Wynddancer, Denika, Barry, Ira, Chrissy Good, Matt, Aurora, Marcus, Ciana Thomas, Leo Jr. and Ally; his siblings-in-law, Leonard (Sarah), David, George, Georgina, Myrtle (Mike), Yvonne, John and Lena Nelson; his friend Mathew Morin; his godchildren, Harry Morin Jr., Kathy Ballantyne, Chris Shinkewski, Charlotte Merasty and Marty Ballentyne; and his pets, Krissy and Baby Girl.
