It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Shirley Neilson (Prince Albert, Saskatchewan), who passed away on July 14, 2023, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, William Spademan and Annie Spademan; her brother Clifford; her former husband John Scragg; her siblings-in-law, Richard McCarthy, James MacDonald, Gaye Spademan, Edith Scragg and Ann Channon; her nieces and nephews, Bobby McCarthy, Douglas Channon, Kimberly Spademan and Helen Anderson; and also, John, Elizabeth Scragg and Algar Thiessen.
She is survived by: her nieces, Jill, Faye and Lily; her children, Lloyd Scragg, Esther Dempster (Bruce), Irene Scragg, Alan Scragg (Lani) and Kevin Scragg (Kerry); her grandchildren, Dana Johnson (Mike), Scott Dempster (Letitia), Ryan Scragg (Shannon), Kelly Scragg (Megan), Amber Scragg, Jonathan Scragg and Megan Scragg; and her siblings, Rosemary MacDonald of Steep Creek, Bob Spademan (Marie) of Prince George, Heather Bunton (Bob) of Sydney, Elizabeth McCarthy of Saskatoon, C. Joseph Spademan (Penny) of Calgary, Ethel MacLeod (Donald) of Steep Creek, Bertha Given of Prince Albert, Art Spademan of Garden River and Sandy Spademan (Margriet) of Prince Albert.
