He was predeceased by: his parents, Oliver Braaten and May Braaten; his granddaughters, Jennifer and Angela Wait; his pet Poppy; his siblings, Arthur (Ann), Olive, Arnold, George and Orvin; and his brothers-in-law, Harvey Boe and Dan Young.
He is survived by: his daughters, Debbie Apesland (Warren), Lorrie Braaten and Terry Wait (Bruce); his great grandchildren, Mathew (Stefanie), Isla and Milo; his grandchildren, Alexandra, Jeffrey, Kaitlyn, Tia, Mya, Devin (Krystle), Emma, Ava and Dax; his siblings, Violet and Albert; and his sisters-in-law, Vicki, Marie and Joan. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, & friends.
