It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Pierre Hubert Thomas Merasty (Prince Albert, Saskatchewan), who passed away on April 16, 2024, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Phillip Merasty and Helen Merasty; his son Dwayne Highway; his parents-in-law, Archie and Mary Loyns; and his siblings, Margaret, Horace, Sylvia and Ricki.
He is survived by: his wife June (Loyns); his children, Heather Merasty (Bobby) and Steven Merasty (Renée); his grandchildren, Nya and Otto; his son Trevor Merasty; his grandchildren, Joshua, Brennen and Willow; and his siblings, Rose, Gloria (Marc), Cecile (Keith), Terry, Donna (Brian), James, Emile (Darlene) and Gary. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
