She was predeceased by: her husband George Lightheart; her daughter Kathryn Lightheart; her brothers, John Tye and Thomas Downes; her sister-in-law Marion Downes; her grandson Troy Lightheart; and her nephew Thomas John Downes.

She is survived by: her children, Beverly Lightheart of Ridgeway, ON, Glenn Lightheart (Lenni Rae) of Calgary, AB, Douglas Lightheart of Hamilton, ON and Patrick Lightheart of Toronto, ON.. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren, her great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
