He was predeceased by: his parents, Clement Guillet and Marguerite Guillet; and his parents-in-law, Andy Szabo and Annette Szabo. He is survived by: his fiancée Andrea Szabo; his son Michael (Samantha); his granddaughter Erica Abramyk (Hannah); and his siblings, Dorina Mareshal (Terry), Gerry Guillet (Linda), Lucille Pylypchuk (Mike), Bob Guillet (Etta), Mark Guillet (Janet), Janice Kezar (Trent), Keith Szabo (Cindy) and Dale Szabo (Stacey). He is also survived by many friends and family.

Maurice strongly supported the Prince Albert SPCA and his family would appreciate donations and tributes to his memory sent there.
