She is survived by: her close friend Duane; her brother-in-law Denis; her husband Duane Bell; her children, Colby Michael Dutkiwch and Kalie Margarite-Ann Dutkiwch; her stepdaughter Louann Bell (Justin Freison); her grandson Carter; her siblings, Ed Smith (Cathy), Ernest Smith (Lorraine), Bob Smith (Kathy), Ronald Smith (Alberta), Shirley Backus (Lorne), Eileen Wilker and Audrey Georget (Denis); her sister-in-law Cheryl Smith; and her niece Colinda LeBlanc.

In Marlene's memory, contributions may be made to Prince Albert Women's Shelter.
