It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Leona Horychun of Prince Albert, Saskatchewan, born in Marcelin, Saskatchewan, who passed away on March 27, 2024, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Casavant and Georgina Casavant (Brunet); her husband Boris; her grandson Kirk; and her siblings, Leon, Paul, Lucien, Wilf, Irene, Lea and Flo.

She is survived by: her children, Steve (Beth Malott), Donna (Blaine Mindiuk), Larry, Darrell (Pam Telfer) and Pat (Randy Holinaty); her grandchildren, Christine (Dan), Shannon (Kyle), Mitchell (Megan) and Taylor; her great grandchildren, Austin, Kalea, Riley, Max, Jake, Liam and Lucas; her great great grandchild Carson; and her brothers, Andrew and Eugene Casavant. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
