He was predeceased by: his parents, Arnold Ferster and Edith Ferster; his mother-in-law Dorothy Matzner; his stepfather-in-law Joe Matzner; and his father-in-law Ervin Helm.
He is survived by: his wife Debra (Debbie); his grandchildren, Drew (Tanya), Ashton, Kassie and Kallie; his children, Deanna Ledding (Jeff), Ava and Emmy; his siblings, Ron Ferster (Bev) and Brenda Ledding (Ted); and his in-laws, Ron Helm (Inez), Verne Helm (Joanne) and David Helm (Lorinda). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Because of Larry's deep love for community, the family is asking that any donations in his memory be sent to either the Shellbrook Senior Curling Club or to the Shellbrook Senior Elks Hockey Club.
