He was predeceased by: his father Peter Zelensky; his parents-in-law, Lena and Steven Ostrowski; his brother-in-law Jerry Hutzal; and his close friend Chris Dunn.

He is survived by: his wife Beverly Zelensky; his daughter Chantelle Zelensky; his grandchild Ivy; his children, Chad Zelensky and Anjali (Cat Aschenbrener); his grandchildren, Georgia and Henry; his mother Sophie Zelensky; and his siblings, Brian Zelensky (Janet), Gary Zelensky (Penny), Perry Zelensky, Cheryl Hicks (Bruce), Connie Lypchuk (Ron) and Karen Zelensky.
