He was predeceased by: his parents, Jacob Longjohn and Alice Longjohn; his children, Darryl, Dwayne, Joseph, Grace and Leslie-Ann; his siblings, Napoleon, Hubert, William, David, Allan, Lena and Rosalie; and his sisters-in-law, Catherine and Yvonne.
He is survived by: his wife Sylvia; his children, Fred, Cindy (Murray), Marsha (Malcolm), Pamela (Dale), Allan (Virginia), Christopher (Arlene), Keith (Tina), Rhonda (Robert), Debbie and Tamara; his grandchildren, Larrisa, Alice and Malcolm Longjohn Jr.; and his siblings, Bertha, Faye (Stanley), Laverne, Robin (Philomina) and Orville (Geraldine). He is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren.
