She was predeceased by: her parents, Camiel Loobuyck and Maria Loobuyck; her daughter Bertha Wright (Brian); her husband Laurence Thorsen; her son-in-law Brian Wright; and her grandson Kelly Best.

She is survived by: her children, Donald Thorsen (Donna), Marlene Thorsen, Laurie Thorsen (June Derby), Brenda Bond (Richard), Cindy MacDonald (Kenneth), Patricia Kachur (Don Best) and Kelly Thorsen (Catherine). She is also survived by her seven children; her 17 grandchildren and 35 great-grandchildren.
