He is survived by: his children, Simeon Ballantyne (Flora) and Virginia Ballantyne-McKenzie (Philip); his grandchildren, Deedle, Trenton, Colton, Linda, Gordon, Elizabeth, Delanie, Liam Samuel, Nathan, Edward, Morgan, Brayden and Hayden; his siblings, Martin Sewap (Elizabeth), Thomas R. Custer, Mathew Custer, Michael Custer, Simon Custer, Maggie McCallum (Alex), Susan McCallum (Adolph), Florence Ballantyne (Philip), Katie Custer, Alena Custer, Madelaine Custer, Sophie Custer and Barbara Ballantyne; his close friends, Ovide Linklater and Tad Dorion; and his sister-in-law Florence Thomas (Robert). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
