Gordon Reid Braaten Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Gordon Reid Braaten (Prince Albert, Saskatchewan), who passed away on January 5, 2022 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Agnes Braaten and Albert Braaten; his parents-in-law, George and Kay Scaife; his brother Allan; and his siblings-in-law, Barry Scaife, Willard Turley and Noreen Braaten.

He is survived by: his wife Donna; his children, Susan Boehm (Brian), Cathy Yungwirth (Francis), Tim Braaten (Lynn), Jeff Braaten (Alison) and Karen Braaten (Rex Selby); his grandchildren, Jared Boehm (Moriah), Joelle Evans (Daniel), Jana Boehm (Gabriel Ferzli), Todd Yungwirth (Lisa), Amy McCagherty (Sean), Reid Braaten, Grace Braaten, Benjamin Braaten, Brett Selby (Morgan) and Celine Selby (Wyatt Arndt); and his great grandchildren, Tyson, Scarlett, Jelena, Laura, Luke, Emily, Abigail, Jack, Nathan, Logan Gordon, Alexis and Zeke. He is also survived by his family and friends.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Canadian Cancer Society in Gordon's memory.
