He is survived by: his wife Darlene; his son Robert Bannerman (Lorette); his grandchildren, Dylan and Jessie; his daughter Diane Sinclair (David); his son-in-law Todd (Darlene); his grandchildren, Tori, Brody, Trey, Teagan and Troy Sinclair (Crystelle); his great grandchildren, Mikayla, Blayse and Cole; his granddaughter Amy Watt (Hugo); his great grandchildren, Kara and Jack; and his nephew Ron Brown (Diane, family: Duane Brown). He is also survived by family; Duane Brown and family.

In lieu of other tributes, donations in memory of George may be made to Lindsay Cemetery.
