He was predeceased by: his parents, Dymetro Kapacila and Katherine Kapacila; his siblings-in-law, Maynard and Velma Morash; his sister Sandra; his brothers-in-law, Morris Bodnarchuk and Bill Kindrachuk; and his grandson Scott Read.
He is survived by: his wife Doreen; his children, Brenda Tubman (Sam), Barb Levesque (Marlon), Valerie Bosch (Ted), Janice Kapacila and David Kapacila (Yazmin); and his sister Irene Kindrachuk. He is also survived by 16 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews.
