She was predeceased by: her parents, John Chytyk and Frances Chytyk; her husband Frank Sowinski; her parents-in-law, Marcella and John Sowinski; and her brother-in-law Joe Sowinski.
She is survived by: her daughter Connie (Wayne Balon); her grandchildren, Ashley (Braden Murfitt, family: Braelynn, Everlee, Rhett) and Brandon Balon (Mikaylie McMillan); her son Craig (Susan Douglas); and her brothers, Theo Chytyk (Lorna) and Maurice Chytyk (Kathy). She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
