It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Elias Ballantyne in Prince Albert, Saskatchewan, born in Pelican Narrows, Saskatchewan, who passed away on January 17, 2025, at the age of 52, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Charlie, Mary Custer, Flora and Moses Ballantyne; his niece Narissa Ballantyne; and his nephew Michael Ballantyne.
He is survived by: his close friend Maria Charles; his children, Anthony Custer, Randy Custer, Summer Ballantyne, Thunder Custer and Serenity Ballantyne; his parents, Elias Sr. Ballantyne and Jane Ballantyne; his grandchildren, Sadie Ballantyne, Cireya McLeod, Ezekiel Custer and Avery Custer; his siblings, Nancy Ballantyne (Gary Halkett), Geraldine Roberts (Albert Head), Carol Charles (Darwin), Jeff Ballantyne (Shirley), Rodie Ballantyne (Darla), Jason Ballantyne (Lorriane), Moses Ballantyne (Mervis) and Travis Ballantyne; and his close friend Tom McDermott. He is also survived by numerous aunts & uncles, nieces & nephews, cousins & friends.
A wake was held on Tuesday, January 21st 2025 and on Wednesday, January 22nd 2025. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, January 23rd 2025 at 4:00 PM at the Band Hall.
