It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Edith Selma Akers in Prince Albert, Saskatchewan, who passed away on January 5, 2022, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Daniel Sundbo (Petra) and Petra Sundbo; her children, Buds and Wendy Pillar (Harvey); her granddaughters, Crystal Meier (Christoph) and Barbara Thompson; her great grandchildren, Haley Pillar (Tyler), Jordyn Pillar, Ashley Pillar, Holly Thompson, Leo Ferguson, Quinn Thompson and Belle Halcro; her husband Jack Akers; and her brothers, Orvel (Del) and Selmer Sundbo (Eileen). She was also cherished by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
