She was predeceased by: her former husband Bill McMullen; her husband John Merkowsky; her daughters, Carol Punkert and Elayne Roberts; her children-in-law, Mel Lehne and Bea Merkowsky; and her son Martin Merkowsky.

She is survived by: her children, Inez Lehne, John Merkowsky, Maureen Jackson (Jack), Rick Merkowsky, Debbie Basiuk (Dean) and Marilyn Cook (Fred Martyniuk); and her sister Winnie Rindal. She is also survived by children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
