She was predeceased by: her parents, George Schmidt and Ruby Schmidt; her husband Bob Horpinuk; her son Dean; her grandson Bryce Balicki; and her siblings, Joy Baerwald, June Gisi, Ken and Blaine Schmidt.
She is survived by: her children, Maxine Balicki (Harvey), Joni Horpinuk (Jason Burnell) and Duane Horpinuk (Alison); her grandsons, Kevin Balicki (Linda) and Zachary Niles (Tyra Bear); her great grandchildren, Brady and Alexis Balicki; and her sister-in-law Marilyn Schmidt.
