It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dexter Gilbert Ermine (Prince Albert, Saskatchewan), who passed away on February 1, 2023, at the age of 40, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his siblings, Joanne Napope and Darryl George Bighead (Mary); his grandfathers, Gilbert Ermine (Martha), Steven R Ermine and Gordon Bighead (Christie); and his great-grandparents, Charles Ermine (Mary), Colin Moosehunter (Celina), Louisa Moosehunter, William Bighead (Victoria Snake) and Abraham Hunt (Amelia).

He is survived by: his parents, George Bighead and Noreen Ermine; his children, Kadence Ermine, Dexter Jr. Ermine and Gilbert Ermine; his close friend Jennine Turner; his siblings, Darren Bighead (Angela), Gavin Ermine (Pam), Albert Ermine, Charlie Ermine (Jamie), Arlene Napope, Tracy Bighead, Chasity Ermine and Natasha Ermine; and his grandparents, Victor Moosehunter and Darlene Turner. He is also survived by numerous relatives and friends.
