With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Cheryl Debra Deforest (Prince Albert, Saskatchewan), who passed away on January 11, 2022. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Cheryl Debra Deforest to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Abraham Deforest and Madeline Deforest; and her sisters-in-law, Vera Deforest, Eva Deforest and Betty Deforest.

She is survived by: her siblings, Arnold Deforest, Ronald Deforest, Jerrald Deforest and Delphine; her brother-in-law Wayne Melchert; and her nieces and nephews, Calvin, Pam Deforest (family: Jacqueline, Brent Johnson, Donald Deforest, Darlene, Perry Karimi, Veronica, Bryan Dierich, Patricia, Gerry Brige, Abraham Deforest, Susan Deforest, Derek Melchert, Ruth O'Carroll), Chad and Colleen Melchert. She is also survived by family; as well as many cousins.

Donations can be made in Cheryl's honor to the Victoria Hospital Foundation, Renal Unit, 1200 24th Street West, Prince Albert, SK S6V 5T4.

Working with you at the Friendship Centre was a pleasure, you laughing when I hung up on the Mayor,when I went to transfer the call( I was in a panic! ) Your sense of humor,I will miss..you have a wicked sense of humor! When I was in YK Hospital, you helped ease the pain and brought me Timmies,walked the halls with me.(wasn't in labor,was after surgery) You are an angel, who has been called home.
