He was predeceased by: his father Armand Sayazie; his grandfathers, Paul Mercredi (Evelyn) and Pierre Sayazie (Sarah); his great-grandparents, John Mercredi (Pauline), Napoleon Mercredi (Louise) and Eli Henerazie; and his aunts and uncles, Roger Mercredi (Irene), Louie Mercredi (Rachel), Marcel, Donald, Johnny, Dorothy, Linda Mercredi, Peter Fern Sr., Armand Sr., Alphonse Martin (Agatha), Magloire Sr. Sayazie, Madeline Boneleye (Edward), Christine Medal (Johnny), Germaine Cook (Alfred), Mary Rose Robillard (Armand) and Pauline Sayazie.

He is survived by: his mother Norma Sayazie; his siblings, Ronda, Rona, Amanda, Carmand and Cameron; his nephews, Regan and Demitri; and his aunts and uncles, Marilyn Fern, Eileen St (Martin), Pierre, Eva McDonald (Napoleon), Lorraine Antsanen (Tony), Morris Mercredi (Celina), Alex, Gerald, Steven Mercredi, May Sayazie and Debbie Mercredi (Adolphus). He is also survived by numerous cousins and family.
