He was predeceased by: his parents, Sam Karpluk and Sally Karpluk; his parents-in-law, Frank and Rose Lendvay; and his siblings-in-law, Steve Lendvay and Rose Lendvay-Bakos.
He is survived by: his wife Liz Karpluk; his children, Les (Cathy) and Lisa (Mike); his grandchildren, Nathaniel (Kristina), Abby (Ryan), Hannah (JJ), Jesse, Amanda (Larin), Noelle and Ariel (Landon); his great grandchildren, Ellie and Gray; and his cousins, Marlene, Lorne, Ernie and Renetta. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
