He was predeceased by: his wife Gladys (Hill); his granddaughter Laurie Delorme; his parents, Thomas Laird and Ethel Laird; his siblings, Alex (Aileen McDowell) and Selma (Richard Bader); and his siblings-in-law, Gerry, Irene Laird and George Williams.

He is survived by: his daughter Judy Delorme (John); his grandson Michael Delorme (Rebecca); his great grandchildren, Kyle, Jerrick, Khaedyn and Kealtie; his stepson Doug Hill (Veronica); his stepgranddaughters, Tracy, Alison Korecki (Gerald) and Kristal (Nevin Ritter); his stepgreat-grandsons, Keilan, Joshua and Kolton; his siblings, George Laird and Ruby Williams; and his friend Ken Wooten. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
