She was predeceased by: her parents, Katherine McKenzie and Albert Moar. She is survived by: her husband Michael Kard; her daughter Serena Sanderson; her grandchildren, Taniesha, Gage, Gavin and Jacob Sanderson; her son Shaun Sanderson (April); her grandchildren, Dante and Rosie Sanderson; her former husband Elmer Desjarlais; her brother John Sanderson (Terry); and her cousin Brian Desjarlais. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and friends.
