She was predeceased by: her husband George Cheal; her son Bryan Cheal; her parents, Marcus Tienkamp and Gerrigje Tienkamp; her parents-in-law, William and Lily Cheal; her siblings, Jana Biggar (Marvin), Margaret Thall (Edwin), Mark Tienkamp, Lenard Tienkamp and Ken Tienkamp; and her siblings-in-law, Roy Cheal (Flo), Joan Vancoughnett (John) and Carmen Tienkamp.

She is survived by: her children, Gordon (Eleanor), Linda Smith (Gary), Darrell (Carol) and Cheryl Elliott (Greg); her grandchildren, Crystal Vilness (Trevor), Amber Viklund (Cody Langford), Bradley Cheal (Crystal), Katie Wilson (Matthew), Ashley Viklund, Christopher Cheal (Samantha), Karsten Elliott (Nicole) and Bryanne Elliott; her great grandchildren, Casey, Reid, Laura, Hanna, George Wilson, Lily, Abigail, Bennett Cheal, Oliver, Gabriel Langford, Corbin, Cirilla Cheal and Adalie Elliott; her brother Gerry (Birgit Gates); and her sisters-in-law, Sylvia Tienkamp, Jeanette Tienkamp and Joanne Johnson.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to a charity of the donor's choice.
