He is survived by: his children, Donna and Brent; his son-in-law Brian Bazansky; his grandson Kyle Bazansky; his wife Beryle; his brother Garth (Irene); his sister-in-law Joan; his daughters, Debra Britton, Brenda Britton (Doug) and Beverly Pederson (Mervin); his grandchild Ryan (Mandy); his great grandchildren, Alexander, Hailey and Avery Pederson; his grandchildren, Jeffrey Pederson (Sarah), Katelynn Pederson (Nick) and Amy Manovich (Andrew); his great grandchild Brayden; his grandson Tyler Bazansky (Nicole); his daughter-in-law Danielle Bazansky; his great grandchildren, Nolan, Nash, Brittany Stringfellow (Kevin), Ellison, Theo, Tucker and Brent Britton (Karlene); and his grandson Blake.

He met Beryle in Wadena at a Halloween party in 1953 and both joked about each other wearing a mask!
