Alvin Scherle Obituary

With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Alvin Scherle of Ponteix, Saskatchewan, born in Earl Grey, Saskatchewan, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 5, 2024 at the age of 90. He was predeceased by: his wife Marguerite Stringer; his parents, Frank Scherle and Alma Scherle; his sister Edna Heintz; his siblings-in-law, Ron Heintz and Eileen Scherle; and his nephew Troy Davidson.

He is survived by: his siblings, Leonard and Bev; his nephew Brent; his nieces, Pricilla, Bonnie and Gwen; and his grandchildren, Lucienne, Denis (Ron), Adelle, Lilliane (Deanna), Doris, Guy (Kritina), Bob and Suzanne.

After Marguerite died, Alvin resided in his home on Centre Street in Ponteix until 2020 when his health started failing and the world was in the midst of a pandemic.

In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations be made to the Foyer St Joseph residents social fund.
