He was predeceased by: his wife Lucy Dorion; his children, Cecilia Dorion (Gabe), Maryann Custer (Solomon), Nancy Okemau (Napoleon), Irene Fosseneuve (Joe), Robert and Alice Dorion; his grandchildren, Violet McKenzie, Virginia Ballantyne, Robin McCallum, Lorraine Dorion, Sarah Fosseneuve and Baby Courtney; his great great grandchildren, Tandy McKay and Jerralyn Lucy McCallum; and his parents, John Dorion and Marie Dorion (Michel).

He is survived by: his children, Ralph Dorion, Leonard Dorion (Julian), Audrey Dessureault (Jacques), Gordon Dorion, Lillian Sewap (Isaiah) and Robin Dorion; and his adoptive children, Ursula (Duckoo), Oliver (Phonz), Bradley (Buster), Laurel (Apuk), Adrienne (Pigease), Nikki, Robynn (Lola), Albert Morin and Shirley Morin-Cook. He is also survived by his 67 grandchildren, his 172 great-grandchildren, and his 57 great-great-grandchildren; numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews.
