It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gilbert Linklater in Pelican Narrows, Saskatchewan, who passed away on December 10, 2023, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his siblings, David (Doreen), Susan (Lloyd), Marie, Evelyn (Coulter) and Graham (Eileen); his parents, Peter Linklater and Catherine Linklater; his siblings, George, Maryann and Margaret; his brother-in-law John Halcrow; and his children-in-law, Tina and Marcel.
He is survived by: his wife Clara Linklater; his children, Miriam (Ernest), Lucy, Glenda, Jackie (Gilford), Joannie, Willis, Ronald, Kenny, Gilbert Jr. (Jackie) and Clarence (Jackie); and his sister-in-law Maggie Halcrow. He is also survived by 37 grandchildren; 66 great-grandchildren; 11 great-great-grandchildren.
