He is survived by: his siblings, Stephen Ballantyne, Burton, Hilton, Payton, Milton, Johnston Linklater, Roy McKenzie and Joely Linklater; his children, Myra Dawn, Riva, Marlon, Leo and Angel; his close friend Deanna Caribou; his aunts and uncles, Rita Custer, Patsy Thomas (Ronnie), Nancy Dorion (Arnold), Joanne Ballantyne, Barbara Ballantyne, Stephanie, Arthur Linklater, Willard Linklater and David Ballantyne (Eleanor); his grandmother Cecilia Ballantyne; and his close friends, Dion Linklater, Jimmy McKay, Carl Cook, Bobby Sewap, Dwayne Dorion, Terilyn McKay, Darcy McKay, Pete Sewap, Brody Linklater, Thomas Jr. Linklater, Ernest Ballantyne (Sam), Shaige Dorion and Darren Dorion. He is also survived by numerous cousins, nephews and nieces.
