He was predeceased by: his wife Marjorie Ruth Hansen; his parents, Axel Hansen and Camilla Hansen; his son William Kenneth Hansen; and his brothers, Borge Brondum Hansen and Arne Hansen.

He is survived by: his children, Kathy Hansen (Ron) of Gold Canyon, Diana Mathison (Heath) of Oxbow and Don Hansen (Sherry) of Oxbow; his grandchildren, Jessica Mathison, Dillon Mathison and Noah Hansen; and his great grandchild Aksel Mathison. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
