He was predeceased by: his parents, Cyril Avery and Elsie Avery; his father-in-law James Reid; his siblings, Grant, Calvin Avery and Marilyn Bzdell; his siblings-in-law, Leland Cunningham, Joe Kuntz, Clayton Millar, Kathy and Norma Avery; and his nephews, Curtis and Hudson.
He is survived by: his wife Donna (Reid); his children, Scott, Krista (Darcy Barath), Patty and Michelle; his grandchildren, Tiffany, Cody Barath, Alexa and Austin Leask; his grand-pups, Mocha, Jasper and Mazey; his siblings, Les Avery (Betty), Grace Kuntz, Cecil Avery (Joyce Travis), Doreen Cunningham and Barry Avery (Vanda); and his siblings-in-law, Eleanor Hodgson (Gus), Diane Millar (Glenn Zimmerman), Debbie Reid, Don Bzdell, Ken Reid and Dennis Reid. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
