It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Evelyn Lanz of Oxbow, Saskatchewan, born in Virden, Manitoba, who passed away on January 14, 2024, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Henry Lanz; her parents, Fred Dempsey and Gladys Dempsey; her brother Jack Dempsey; and her son-in-law Albert Leduc.
She is survived by: her children, Jean Leduc, Darcy (Vivian) and Shauna Klassen (Verle, family: Dillon Leduc); her grandchild Merrick; her children, Jack, Breanna LeClair and Gloria Bourassa (Andrew); her grandchildren, Andrea (Michael), Reid, Kristy Lewko (James), Alesha (Robbie), Duke and Jesse Bourassa; her children, Janice Sawatzky (Harvey, family: Dallas, Chinski), Waylon (Hyekyoung), Chinski and Logan Chinski; and her sisters, Dolores Elliott and Carole Dixon.
