He was predeceased by: his parents, Alfred Pierce and Dorothy Pierce (Steele); his parents-in-law, Roy and Myrtle Hodgson; and his aunt Evelyn Pierce.
He is survived by: his significant other Verla (Hodgson); his children, Tamara Brock (Greg) and Doug Pierce (Miranda); his grandchildren, Meghan (Dawson), Ericka (Cody), Kaiden, Grayson Brock, Hunter and Kylan Pierce; his siblings, Norm Pierce (Marg) and Patricia Warren (Clark); and his siblings-in-law, Eileen Carroll, Linda Gerrard (Wayne), Mavis Haigh (Allen), Clarence Hodgson (Arlene), Ronald Hodgson (Geri) and Lowell Hodgson (Elaine). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
