Esau and Margaret DeVeer Esau; his uncle Gerhard DeVeer; his significant other Lorena Loewen of Linden, AB.; his children, Dean (Lois Esau), Ramona (Ron Isaac), Ellen Chiasson, Ron (Michelle Esau) and Arlen (Jodi Esau); his sisters, Pauline Penner of Steinbach, MB and Mildred Cardinal; his parents-in-law, Harvey Cardinal of Victoria, BC and Rosella Esau; and his son-in-law Don Chiasson.
