He was predeceased by: his parents, Harriet Chocan and Wilfred Chocan; his wife Lorraine Naistus; his daughter Candy; his grandchildren, Desiree and Juno; and his siblings, Paul, Wilfred Jr., Agnes, Aldina, Anna, Gloria, Rosalie and Richard.
He is survived by: his children, JudyAnn (Terry), Sandy (Kammy), Clint (Trina) and Loralee; his adoptive son John (Sherri); his cāpāns, Chasey, Lorayden, Jayzlen, Rylan, Reha, Sarah, Athena, Kanye, Lyla, Noah, Alora, Gabriel, Kovey, Niyanna, Nya, Aidan, Jorryn, Paige and Kayson; and his siblings, June, Grace (Raymond), Jack (Brenda) and Vernon. He is also survived by cousins, nieces, nephews.
A wake was held on Tuesday, March 25th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Onion Lake Memorial. A funeral service was held on Thursday, March 27th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Onion Lake Communiplex.
