He was predeceased by: his wife Marilyn Waskewitch; his daughter Robin John; his parents, Peter Waskewitch and Madeline Waskewitch; and his siblings, Christina Dillon, Percy Waskewitch, Jean Watchmaker, James "Jimmy" Waskewitch, Samuel Waskewitch and Dorothy Cardinal.
He is survived by: his children, Jocelyn Reekie, Tyson John, Delbert Waskewitch (Sabrina), Jordan Waskewitch, Adrian Waskewitch (Dana) and Renata Waskewitch (Junior Pahtayken); his grandchildren, Jaspar Greenald, Everlee Wolfe, Vienna Waskewitch, Giséle Waskewitch and Ava Chamakese; and his siblings, Lydia Harper (Willard), Shirley Waskewitch, Lillian John (Charlie) and Elaine Fox (Leonard). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews.
A wake was held on Monday, February 3rd 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Onion Lake Communiplex. A funeral service was held on Wednesday, February 5th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
