With profound sadness, we say goodbye to John Edward Quinney (Onion Lake, Saskatchewan), whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. He was predeceased by: his parents, William Quinney and Mary Masson; and his siblings, Leo Masson, Leonard Quinney, Walter Quinney (Shirley Horse), Victoria Quinney, Vera Quinney and Matthew Quinney.
He is survived by: his children, Loralyn Thom, Laurence Thom, Larry Thom, Lorna Thom, Luanne Thom, Lori Thom and Shaylene Thom; his foster children, Natasha Thom, Tonya Thom, Harrison Dillon and Edna Dillon; and his siblings, Hector Quinney, Valerie Paul, Violet Quinney, Veronica Waskahat and Moise Paul. He is also survived by numerous extended family members and friends.
A wake was held on Tuesday, December 3rd 2024 at 2:00 PM. A funeral service was held on Thursday, December 5th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Onion Lake Communiplex.
