She was predeceased by: her husband James; her parents, Norman Mehnke and Irene Mehnke; her parents-in-law, Charles and Catherine Caird; and her siblings-in-law, Margaret Turner and Archie Turner.

She is survived by: her son Ken Caird (Harmina) of Calgary; her stepchildren, Josh Louwersheimer (Jenny), Adrienne Swayze (Eric) and Matt Louwersheimer (Anne); her son Bill Caird (Barb) of Ogema; her grandchildren, Jason Caird (Hailey) and Laura Delanoy (Justin); her great grandchildren, Hunter and Bella Delanoy; her nephews, Bob Turner (Joanne) and Darryl Turner (Bonnie); and also Nancy Caird of Saskatoon.
