George Ruston Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of George Ruston (Nut Mountain, Saskatchewan), who passed away on October 22, 2021 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his sisters, Edith Ruston and Kathleen Grunert; his siblings-in-law, Arnie Lund, Clifford Linnen, Edith Linnen and Joan Linnen; and his parents, Joseph Ruston and Edith Ruston.
He is survived by: his brothers, Richard (Dick) and Robert Ruston (Bob); his siblings-in-law, Everett Linnen, Evelyn Lund and Eileen Wilson (Trevor); his children, Louise Klein (Bob), Edwin Ruston (Shelly), Howard Ruston (Karen) and Linda Exner (Shawn); his grandchildren, Sarah Olson (Gareth), Jesse Ruston, Mitchell Olson (Chloe), Heather Ruston (Kyle), Melissa Olson (Mike) and Chesley Ruston (Susan); and his wife Rose Linnen. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
He loved dancing and he and Rose attended old-time dances in Saskatoon three times a week for 22 years, until the COVID-19 restrictions came into effect in 2020.
