He was loved and cherished by many people including: his brother Peter; his mother Antonia II; his brother Laurentic II; his wife Helen Kozial of Peesane Saskatchewan; his children, John and Dianne; and his brother Frank Misan.

He settled into River Height Lodge where he battled dementia/ Alzheimer's until his passing.
