She was predeceased by: her husband Jerry Sander; her parents, Emma Leinenweber and Jacob Leinenweber; her parents-in-law, Julia and Wilhelm Sander; her sisters, Elizabeth Tchida (John), Emma (Frank) and Anne Ell (Jerome); and her siblings-in-law, Paula, Clementine Sander, Veronica, Julia Wandler, Mary Heilman, Elizabeth Barth, John Tchida, Frank, Jerome Ell, Joseph, Bill, Leo Sander, Martin, Tom, Mike Wandler, Anton Heilman and Ralph Barth.
She is survived by: her children, Wilkie, Julia Lamontagne (Ray) of Leask, SK, Anne Wallace (Pat) of Saskatoon, SK, Theresa Mitchell (Allan) of Yorkton, SK and Jack Sander (Joanne) of Prince Albert, SK; her grandchildren, Tyler Yakubchuk (Janick Bender), Adam Sander (Brittany Nowlan), Jack Wallace (Danielle Sharpe), Andrea Mugleston (Lannie), Mathew Sander, Sarah Wallace (John Zosiak), Jonah Sander (Julia Morava), Allison Mitchell (Nicholas Horlick) and Terri-Lynn Mitchell (Stephen Kreuger); her stepgrandchildren, Trent Mitchell (Brenda Kanzig), Renee Rurka (Dwayne) and Dion Lamontagne (Juliane); her great grandchildren, Peyton Yakubchuk, Zakary, Mataya, Kaiya Sander, Braylin Smytaniuk, William, Nathan Wallace, Hanna, Sadie, Lucas Mugleston, Elizabeth, Aubrey, Jerry Sander, Clarke Mitchell, Paul, Rebecca Rurka, Graham and Dustin Lamontagne; and her sisters-in-law, Agnes Wandler of North Battleford, SK and Amelia Sander of Spruce Grove, AB..
Theresa's family would like to thank all the caregivers and health practitioners who cared for Theresa over the years—especially those who helped navigate the challenges of COVID and whose dedication and compassion is proof of angels among us.
